What Chileatole means
Chileatole is a Mexican soup or stew name of Nahuatl origin meaning "chile maize gruel". It is built from chīlli (chile) and ātōlli (maize gruel). It is pronounced chee-leh-ah-TOH-leh, and it is most associated with Puebla.
